📦 How do I send my cylinder for repair?Updated 11 days ago
At Motoscoot we want the process of sending your cylinder for repair to be as simple and safe as possible. To do so, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Complete the contact form (mandatory)
Before sending your cylinder, make sure you are registered at Motoscoot and fill out our contact form, selecting the subject: “Cylinder repair”.
In the body of the message you must include the following information:
- Motorbike brand
- Model
- Year of manufacture
- Cylinder diameter
- Do you already have the new piston or would you like us to supply it?
- Do you need the cylinder gasket kit?
In addition, it is mandatory to attach clear photos of the cylinder so that our team can assess its condition in advance and speed up the process.
Step 2: Estimate and order confirmation
Once we receive your form, our team will review the information and send you a detailed repair estimate.
After the estimate has been accepted and paid, we will provide you with an order code that you must use as a reference to proceed with sending the cylinder.
Step 3: Shipping instructions
- The cylinder must be sent with shipping costs prepaid.
- It must be fully disassembled (no exhaust valve or studs*).
- Motoscoot is not responsible for damage caused during transport, so make sure the item is properly protected.
- Write the estimate code clearly on the outside of the box.

*If components such as valves or studs are sent assembled, Motoscoot is not responsible for their loss or damage. In addition, a disassembly fee will be applied. Find detailed pricing information here.
Piston
- If you already have the new piston, send it together with the cylinder.
- If you do not have it, mention it in the form and we will check availability with our suppliers.
Repair time
The approximate repair time is 6 to 7 weeks, depending on the workshop workload and material availability.
