 How to measure my cylinder for nikasil coating?

To calculate the exact price of the nikasil coating service for aluminum cylinders, it is essential to know the internal diameter of the cylinder. This measurement determines which price range your cylinder falls into.

🔹 Steps to measure your cylinder:

1. Make sure the cylinder is clean before measuring it.

2. Use a precision caliper (vernier caliper or micrometer) to obtain the internal measurement.

3. Measure the diameter of the bore of the cylinder at its straightest section.

4. Record the value in millimeters (mm).

5. Compare the measurement with our nikasil coating price table to determine the applicable rate.

👉 Example:

• If your cylinder measures Ø 47 mm, the applicable price will be for the range Ø 46-53 mm.

• If it measures Ø 60 mm, the price will correspond to the range Ø 57-60 mm.

⚠️ Important: always measure with a proper tool, as even a minimal difference in millimeters can change the applicable rate.
